Mulch Bed Installation
Fresh mulch that holds color, controls weeds, and makes your beds look finished from the curb.
We use hardwood mulch that holds its color through summer instead of fading to gray in a month. Before we spread anything, we pull weeds, rake out old decomposed mulch, and redefine the bed edges so they're clean and consistent. Then we lay mulch at the right depth. Too thin and weeds push through. Too thick and you smother plant roots.
If your beds need reshaping or expanding, we handle that first. We can add curves, widen narrow strips, or remove grass to give shrubs more room. Once the shape is right, the mulch goes down smooth.
We haul off the old material and leave your driveway clean. You'll see the difference from the street the same day.
About mulch bed installation
How often should I refresh my mulch?
Most Woodlands beds need new mulch once a year. If your mulch is faded or thin, it's time.
Do you install landscape fabric under the mulch?
We can, but we usually don't recommend it. Fabric blocks water and air from reaching roots, and weeds still grow on top once mulch breaks down.
Can you match the mulch I already have?
We'll get as close as we can. Bring us a sample or a photo and we'll source the right product.
