Lawn Fertilization
Timed fertilizer applications that keep your grass thick, green, and strong enough to crowd out weeds.
We fertilize based on what your grass type needs and when it actually grows. St. Augustine gets fed in late spring and summer when it's actively growing, not in early spring when it's still waking up. Bermuda gets a different schedule. Timing matters because fertilizer applied at the wrong time either sits there doing nothing or pushes weak growth that can't handle heat.
We use a balanced fertilizer with slow-release nitrogen so you get steady green instead of a fast spike that fades in two weeks. If your soil test shows low iron or other deficiencies, we adjust the mix. We also watch the forecast and skip applications before heavy rain that would wash product into storm drains.
Most lawns need three to four applications a year. We'll set up a schedule and remind you before each visit.
About lawn fertilization
Will fertilizer get rid of my weeds?
No, but thick healthy grass crowds out most weeds naturally. If you have a weed problem, we can add targeted treatments.
Is your fertilizer safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use products approved for residential use. Let the lawn dry after application before letting pets or kids back on it.
Do I need to water after you fertilize?
Yes. We'll tell you exactly how much and when. Watering moves the fertilizer into the soil where roots can use it.
